Katie Argyle Bio
Katie Argyle is a graduate of the Fine Art Program at the Ottawa School of Art and holds a BA Hons in Medieval Art History and History
from Carleton University, Ottawa. In 2010 she moved to Richmond Hill, ON, and in 2011 she founded Necessity Studios in Aurora.
Here she continues her studio practice in printmaking, ceramics and painting. She is a member of the Hill Potters' Guild and is the
curator of the Burr House Gallery in Richmond Hill. Recently she began teaching art to adults and is focused on expanding into this
area over the coming year.
